AleTrim in the press

People are starting to see what AleTrim can do for them

In October, AleTrim was picked up by the Bristol Post and the very next day, the BBC asked me to be on breakfast radio.

It was my first time on radio as a guest and I think I missed the point as far as the listeners were concerned, they wanted to know about the taste and the quality rather than the speed of pour.

Then we got a mention in the Morning Advertiser which set the phone alight.

We are now dispatching a number of sample requests, and are already getting some great feedback. For example, a recent cask ale trial at the Five Lamps in Derby, saved 20 pints of ale over four days with just two AleTrim devices.

We hope to have more case studies to share soon!

Launching AleTrim at the world’s largest trade show for drinks

In September, we took AleTrim to Munich for drinktec 2017

In September 2017, we launched AleTrim at drinktec in Munich, the world’s leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry.

What a show it is! Drinktec takes place just once every four years, and covers absolutely everything you can imagine relating to all types of drink, not just beer.

We ended up in Hall 9 of 14 in the ‘Craft and Homebrew corner’ and set up our stand displaying our range of AleTrim laminar flow nozzles, which you can see in the image above.

An amazing number of people from all over the world came to find us at our stand after hearing about what we do. We had some great conversations with people in all areas of the beer industry.

We also had a surprising level of interest from people looking for smart dispensing for a diverse range of other products, not just beer. It is now obvious that the issue of waste is global, and not just limited to the beer industry. I think the winner of the most unusual enquiry came from someone who wanted to use AleTrim as udders for an auto-dispensing plastic cow!

We met some great publicans from the UK who agreed to sign up for full field trial. And the real highlight was the enthusiasm that came from a number of international brewers.

All in all, drinktec was a great experience, and helped us to make some fantastic contacts in the industry.

With four years to go until the next drinktec, we have some time to think about what we might do next time, and to explore other trade shows in the beer industry.
